Muse Thalia

The goddess here depicted is Thalia, one of the Muses.
In her hands she is holding a double flute, her characteristic
instrument. The bas-relief is inspired by a prassitelic sculpture
which dates back to the end of the 4th century b.C. and is now
displayed in Athens, National Archaeological Museum.
